Eight wines, several expressions of the estate.

In Menorca, Santa Catalina produces wines rooted in the landscape of the finca: fresh and direct Sa Caterina wines, more structured Gran Clos wines shaped by ageing, a macerated white Brisat and a Blanc de Noir made from red grapes.

Each wine offers a different interpretation of the estate, between Mediterranean freshness, texture, ageing and more singular vinifications.

The land

Production at the scale of the estate.

Around the finca, twelve hectares of vines form a still-young vineyard, cultivated with care. The vineyard brings together several white and red grape varieties suited to the estate’s blends, including Malvasia, Chardonnay, Macabeo, Prensal, Syrah and Monastrell.

Sa Caterina

The estate’s essentials.

White · Stainless steel

Sa Caterina Blanco

Chardonnay, Malvasia, Macabeo and Prensal. A lively, floral white wine, naturally suited to seafood and Mediterranean dishes.

Rosé · Stainless steel

Sa Caterina Rosado

Syrah and Monastrell. A bright, supple and crisp rosé, made for shared plates and relaxed Mediterranean moments.

Red · Stainless steel

Sa Caterina Tinto

Syrah and Monastrell. A generous, fruit-driven red wine with a direct and expressive character from the estate.

Gran Clos

The aged wines.

White · French oak

Gran Clos Blanco

Chardonnay aged for six months in French oak. A fuller white wine, combining fruit, roundness and subtle oak notes.

Rosé · French oak

Gran Clos Rosado

Syrah and Monastrell aged for six months in French oak. A rosé built for the table, with greater structure and depth.

Red · Barrel ageing

Gran Clos Tinto

Syrah and Monastrell aged for 12 to 18 months in barrel. The estate’s deepest red wine.

Macerated white · Blend

Sa Caterina Brisat

A white wine with a short period of skin contact, around twenty-four hours with the skins. More texture, more aromatic presence and a singular place at the table.

White wine from red grapes

Sa Caterina Blanc de Noir

A white wine made from Syrah and Monastrell, vinified from red grapes without prolonged skin contact.

The wines are available at the bodega shop in Mahón, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 1 pm. For professional enquiries or estate visits, the team will respond directly.
